The EXG500 series of UHF CB handheld radios feature a full IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof design that floats in water. When it is dropped into water, the LED strobe light will be automatically activated, enabling you to easily locate it. They're ideal for outdoor activities, enabling you to stay in touch with your group, especially when mobile phone reception is weak without being bulky - they're only 274g and 23 x 6.3 x 5.3cm (H x W x D).
The large, easy to read backlit dot matrix display also has a RSSI Active Display feature (Received Signal Strength Indicator) - Live Visual Signal Strength and squelch level Indicator allowing you to adjust the squelch level to meet surrounding signal activity. With a long range of up to 17km and up to 30 hours of operation time, you will always stay connected. A removable flexible antenna allows you to connect to EcoXGear's ATPA230 antennas.
