Constructed using durable, high-strength materials, it's capable of withstanding stresses of up to 9,500kg. HardKorr extension ropes are built with our Durakorr(TM) synthetic - a material that's incredibly strong, almost ten times lighter than traditional steel cable, safe, and more abrasion resistant than some steels. The rope also has a UV and chemical-resistant coating which means that the rope is ready for years of service.
On each end of the rope, HardKorr have attached a protective nylon sheathe to help reduce the wear at the main grip points of the rope. Rated to a Minimum Breaking Strength of 9,500kg, it's a rope you can add to your kit with confidence it'll get the job done when you need it.

Determined in a large-scale lab test, the Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) figure is determined by taking the measurement of the weakest sample when it first starts to tear, rip, or break. It's recommended that the MBS of any recovery rope used should be at least 2-3 times the gross weight of the vehicle that's being recovered.
