It is also suitable for use in rotary engined vehicles such as Mazda RX series vehicles that require this viscosity grade.Premium Mineral 15W-40 is recommended for use where SAE 15W-40 or SAE 20W-40 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It meets the latest API SN Plus specification providing improved turbocharger deposit control, oxidation, aeration, fuel economy and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection and enhanced wear protection. It can be used where API SN and previous specifications API SM (2004-2010), SL (2001-2004), SJ (1998-2000) or older specifications were recommended. It is suitable for use in older diesel engined vehicles where API CF or earlier is specified by the manufacturer. It is NOT suitable for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA “C” grade Low-SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus & Sulphur) engine oil.VEHICLES & FUEL TYPRESPremium Mineral 15W-40 is designed for use in passenger car, 4WD's and light commercial vehicles and is compatible with Petrol/LPG (Dual Fuel), E10, Diesel (without DPF) and most other conventional fuels.NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
