The DR970X Plus delivers even better video quality than its predecessor thanks to the new Sony STARVIS 2 video sensor and a new lens with f1.7 aperture for even better performance in challenging light conditions. The new Sony STARVIS 2 video sensor is rated at 8.4 megapixels and is capable of true 4K 2-channel output. It enables recording at 30 frames per second for smooth video and outstanding low light sensitivity. Together with the new wide aperture lens and 146 degree ultra-wide viewing angle, you won't miss any action that unfolds in front of your vehicle.

As with previous generations, BlackVue's DR970X Plus range also has these important features:

- Intelligent parking mode monitoring with battery discharge prevention features (enabled when hardwired to your vehicle's fuse box using the included harness cable)
